Obstetrics

I am delighted to join you on your journey to motherhood. I understand the joy and excitement of pregnancy but also the stress and anxiety having a baby can bring. I respect your birth preferences and we will discuss this prior to delivery to ensure you have a birth, which you wanted. My consulting rooms are located inside Hurstville Private Hospital, so I can be present when my patients need me most.

  • I believe a healthy start lays the foundation for a successful pregnancy and the wellbeing of your future child. Preconception care is a proactive approach to optimise your health before conception, ensuring the best possible outcomes for you and your baby. We will address individual health concerns, identify potential risks and provide personalised guidance to enhance fertility and overall wellbeing. By addressing these concerns early on, we aim to reduce potential complications and ensure a smooth pregnancy journey. Whether you are planning to conceive soon or in the future, our preconception services are designed to optimise your chance of a successful pregnancy whether you are starting or expanding your family.

  • From the moment you discover you are pregnant until the end of the first trimester, I am here to guide you through this critical period. I understand pain or bleeding in the first trimester can cause stress and anxiety. Hence I will see you promptly and provide the necessary care during this delicate time. My priority is to ensure the health and safety of both you and your baby. I will organise a comprehensive evaluation including ultrasounds and blood tests to identify the underlying factors contributing to the pain and bleeding.

  • Congratulations! I am here by your side to offer expert guidance and compassionate support on your pregnancy journey. Your antenatal appointments will involve regular checkups, pregnancy ultrasounds and routine blood tests to ensure the wellbeing of both you and your baby. I understand that every pregnancy is unique and will provide a personalised approach. We will discuss your birth plan to ensure a positive experience and nurturing environment for your growing family.

  • I recognise the post partum period is both joyful and challenging, hence I will see you at 6 weeks after you deliver. This is a safe space where you can openly discuss your post partum experience and receive guidance on topics such as breastfeeding, newborn care and postnatal wellness. I believe in empowering mothers with knowledge and resources to make confident decisions for themselves and their babies.
